What is Evoked Potential?
Evoked Potential (EP) tests to measure brain function in response to stimuli of different modalities, which includes visual, auditory, and somatosensory EP tests.
- Evoked Potential tests check how well visual/ auditory signal travel through different nerves to the brain
- There are three types of EPs: Visual evoked potential (VEP), Brainstem auditory EPs (BERA), somatosensory EPs (SSEP)
